Bush and +Live+ are kicking off The ALT-IMATE Tour this summer to celebrate the 25th anniversary of Sixteen Stone and Throwing Copper. They'll be hitting arenas and amphitheaters throughout the country, including a Friday, Aug. 30 date at Bethel Woods Center for the Arts.

"Sixteen Stone propelled us onto the musical landscape," Nush frontman Gavin Rossdale said in a press release announcing the tour. "Those songs have found a way into the soundtrack of people’s lives and that is the highest compliment available. We’ve continued to make music that resonates with people."

Vocalist Ed Kowalczylk echoed those sentiments when reflecting on the '90s ubiquity of +LIVE+ hits like "Lightning Crashes" and "Selling the Drama."

"It's an amazing feeling to know that these songs still resonate so profoundly with people," Kowalczyk said in the press release. "And I still totally get off on celebrating this music with them. With Throwing Copper, we were taking on big things with a big sound. Love, truth, birth, death, philosophy, religion, spirituality...we were asking the perennial questions and poking around for answers with this massive and dynamic sound."
