If you've got a teen in the house that loves to perform, or you think they've got what it takes to do a little improv work, well this weekend might be a chance for them to sharpen those skills.

Hudson Valley Improv is currently offering a Teen Improv Drop In Class on Saturday October 19th from 11am until 1pm at their Ulster County location.  This is a first come, first serve opportunity with a limited number of spots available.  No experience is necessary and this workshop is open to teens age 13 to 17.

According to their website:

Hudson Valley Improv primarily offers classes, private workshops and live shows in improvisation.  We teach adults and teens. Our method of improv is based in in a method evolved by Samantha Jones called Improv Empowerment. Her method involves personal empowerment and a unique blend of actor training techniques we find imperative for a skilled improvisor.

In addition to the teen class, they also have pre-teen drop in classes, advanced courses and other opportunities to get your improv on.

I don't know about you, but I thought I was a stand up comedian during my teen years (my parents did NOT agree), so this opportunity would have been perfect for me.
