Groggers Set To Re-Open Under New Management
The popular Groggers bar and restaurant closed unexpectedly Thanksgiving weekend but now comes word it will reopen under a new name and with new owners.
According to a recent Facebook post, the establishment will be called Jason Patrick's on 44 and will feature delicious steaks, burgers, seafood and more. CIA trained chef Greg DeMichiel will be displaying his culinary skills for all to taste.
Groggers originally opened their doors to the public in late 2016 and is the former site of Gentleman Jim's. On November 21st in a post to their Facebook page, they stated that they'd be closed for the holiday but customers say they never opened back up.
According to a Daily Voice article from around the time they opened up, owners had originally hoped this would be the first of up to three restaurants in the area.
There is no official opening date for Jason Patrick's on 44, but more information will be coming soon.
