Halloween at LEGOLAND New York
Let's be clear: this isn't just a random act of kindness of the part of LEGOLAND; they're looking for families willing to strike a pose and work for their free admission (and cash). The Facebook page Hudson Valley Casting recently posted an opening for families to act as models for a Halloween-styled photoshoot. Here's who they're looking for and how much they'll pay each family.
Casting Call for LEGOLAND New York
"EMERGENCY FAMILY CASTING" began the all-caps post looking for families with children between 6 and 10 years old. The casting agency says they're looking for families of all ethnicities to participate in an all-day (10:30am-6pm) event on Wednesday, September 21st for a photo and video shoot. In addition to monetary payment (more on that in a sec), families will also receive lunch, snacks, reimbursement for Halloween costumes, and admission to the "Monster Party Friends and Family Event" from 4pm to 6pm. But back to the cash...
Children will receive $250 for the photoshoot, as well as an additional $250 for the rights to use their photos in future campaigns. Parents will receive a $350 fee plus a $500 photo-rights buyout. With that math, a family of four could walk away with just shy of $3,000. Families of all ethnicities are encouraged to send full-length family photos to HudsonValleyExtrasCasting@gmail.com.
