The OA is coming back!

The hit Netflix show, which ended season 1 with HUGE questions, has officially been renewed for season 2 by Netflix.

The story of Prairie, the once blind girl who had gone missing and was found with her sight restored, was a huge success on the internet streaming service. The first season had a tendency to meander quite a bit, but mixed in philosophy, religion, the question of the afterlife, among other things. It drew in millions of viewers, and set Twitter on fire trying to figure out it's subtle clues and ending.

The series was filmed quite extensively in the Hudson Valley, at several different locations. Monroe-Woodbury High School (Woodbury Junction) and the surrounding area was where a large chunk of the story took place. Harriman State Park, Tappan NY, Pace University, Croton-On-Hudson and several other places in the immediate area were used.

Netflix released "The OA" to very little fanfare, only dropping the trailer 4 days before the series hit their website. Hopefully we'll have a little more notice about season 2 before it becomes available.
