Hudson Valley Dance Festival: A Celebration of Talent and Compassion
A Day of Dance
On Sunday, October 13, 2024, the 11th annual Hudson Valley Dance Festival will light up the stage in Catskill, NY. Presented by Dancers Responding to AIDS and Broadway Cares/Equity Fights AIDS, this charitable event showcases both local and internationally recognized talent.
Supporting Vital Services
The festival raises funds for over 450 organizations nationwide, including 16 local charities in the Hudson Valley, such as the Matthew 25 Food Pantry and the Albany Damien Center. Proceeds ensure that individuals living with HIV/AIDS and other critical illnesses receive lifesaving medications, counseling, healthy meals, and emergency assistance. Since its inception in 2013, the festival has raised an impressive $1.3 million.
A Unique Venue with Artistic Flair
Set against the backdrop of the picturesque Hudson River, the Historic Catskill Point transforms a charming 19th-century warehouse into a modern dance venue. The festival will feature renowned dance companies and emerging artists performing diverse styles in two shows at 2 PM and 5 PM.
Tickets and Special Packages
Ticket prices range from $40 to $1,000, with prime tickets available for $125, which includes a cocktail reception. Premium tickets at $275 grant access to both the reception and an exclusive dinner with the dancers. A limited number of $40 tickets are available for the 2 PM performance only.
Don’t miss this opportunity to enjoy world-class performances while supporting a worthy cause! For tickets, visit the Dancers Responding to AIDS website.
