Two Insanely Exciting Events Happening At Hudson Valley Fairgrounds
So the County Fair Season may be over, but that doesn't mean that there aren't exciting things happening at our local fairgrounds. Both the Dutchess and Ulster County Fairgrounds have events scheduled this fall.
If you are looking for something to do, I am going to suggest you think about heading to one or even all of these Hudson Valley events to enjoy some late-season fun in 2025. I am personally looking forward to a few of these events myself. I am a big pickle fan, so the Rodendale International Pickle Festival is on my list, along with another favorite, the NYS Sheep and Wool Family Festival. I have details about both for you, so read on.

The New York Sheep and Wool Festival on October 18th and 19th is fun for the whole family. Enjoy learning about all things wool, plus there are so many artisan crafters and people involved in the agricultural side of the businesses, you can learn so much about this material that keeps us warm, and the animals who produce it.
The Festival is at the Fairgrounds in Rhinebeck and is held on both Saturday from 9 AM to 5 PM and Sunday from 9 AM to 4 PM. Enjoy more than 300 wool and fiber artists, along with all the various animals that make wool. There are workshops and livestock events on both days. Tickets are $15 per day at the gate.
