They may have just announced the end of nude pictures in the magazine but Playboy has just named a Hudson Valley hotel as one of the top ten haunted places in America.

The Shanley Hotel is well known locally for being haunted and downright creepy. It has changed hands numerous times over the years and is currently owned by Salvatore Nicosia who is restoring the hotel to it's former glory.

The hotel was built in the mid 1800's and is located in Ulster County in the Shawangunk Mountains. Paranormal activity like rocking chairs, smells, mysterious shadows and footsteps have all been reported over the years. If you're looking for a unique paranormal experience, you can actually stay at The Shanley Hotel from just $85 a night. In fact, you can rent the whole thing for just $1,200. If you dare, call (845) 210-4267 for reservations.

Ghost Detectives featured the haunted Hudson Valley location in an episode a few years ago.
