There have been a lot of people that have hired and fired from the White House over the past year or so. One of the most high-profile and controversial was FBI director James Comey, who was fired by Donald Trump in May while in the middle of leading the Russia investigation.

Aside from his appearance testifying before the Senate Intelligence Committee in June, Comey has mostly kept out of the public eye since. But a few weeks ago, an account was quietly activated under the name "Reinhold Neibuhr." Today, Comey revealed that he is the source behind the account, and you can follow him under the handle @Comey.

James Comey was born in Yonkers, and in fact one of the very first things he posted on his account was an image of the Hudson River from West Point. It remains to be seen how Comey will use his Twitter account now that he's out in the open, but he has a new book out, so he'll likely be promoting it heavily. Or he'll use Twitter like the rest of us, and just live-tweet Stranger Things and post pictures of cats wearing sunglasses. Only time will tell.
