A well known Hudson Valley pumpkin display has gotten the national recognition it deserves. Travel and Leisure selected 16 pumpkins destinations nationwide and the Great Jack O'Lantern Blaze in Croton-On-Hudson was at the top of the list.

Held on the grounds of Van Cortlandt Manor, the Great Jack O'Lantern Blaze consists of more than 7,000 individually hand carved jack-o-lanterns. You'll find all kinds of different displays on site including a sea serpent surfacing next to the Croton River, Jurassic Park and even The Headless Horsemen. All of the exhibits made entirely of carved pumpkins.

This family friendly event also features sound effects, cool lighting and a totally original soundtrack from musician Richard Christy.

Located at 525 South Riverside Ave in Croton-On-Hudson, the event typically sells out each night so you'll want to plan ahead. Tickets for adults start at $20, you can call (914) 366-6900 for more information or to purchase tickets.
