Police say the Hudson Valley teacher would have children wear high heel shoes and record them.

On Thursday, the Greenburgh Police Department Special Victims Unit announced the arrest of 67-year-old Stanley Indig of Brewster for two counts of endangering the welfare of a child.

On July 20, police were contacted by a resident who alleged misconduct by a music teacher who was hired to give in-home, private lessons to his daughters. During the course of the lessons, it was alleged that Indig would have the children wear and pose in a woman’s high heel shoes as he recorded them with his cell phone.

After an investigation was conducted by Greenburgh Police Department Special Victims Unit, along with the assistance of the Special Prosecutions Division of the Office of the Westchester County District Attorney, Indig was arrested and charged.

The Greenburgh Police Department Special Victims Unit and the Office of the Westchester County District Attorney are conducting an ongoing joint investigation into Indig’s activities. Anyone with information that may aid the investigation is asked to contact the Greenburgh Police Department Special Victims Unit at 914-989-1700.

Indig was arraigned in Greenburgh Town Court and released on his own recognizance.
