Did You Know There's a Celebrity Owned Golf Course in the Hudson Valley?

The Hudson Valley is no stranger to celebrities. It's become a getaway from the glitz and glam of the big city.

Some of them are even making a life in the region with their families. So a celebrity owned business is not a shocker.

Everyone has heard about Samuel's Sweet Shop in Rhinebeck, owned by the trifecta of Jeffery Dean Morgan, Hilarie Burton-Morgan and Paul Rudd.

Recently, a few new celebrities got together to become part owners of a golf course in Sullivan County.

Back in May of 2025, Super Bowl Champion and former Philadelphia Eagle Jason Kelce was announced as part owner of Sullivan County Country Club.

Kelce joined actor Bill Murray and Mike Madden, the owner of Muhammad Ali's training camp, as part owners of the popular golf course. Another trifecta!

Celebrity Owned Golf Course Opens For The Season

If you see Jason Kelce around town, well now you know why.

Sullivan County Country Club is officially opened for the season. On May 19th, 2026, Sullivan County Country Club wrote on social media:

Bill Murray & Jason Kelce’s golf course just opened for the season & fellow owner Tom Coyne just wrote a NYT bestselling book about it.

They added that the course, which is located in Liberty, is 9 holes and opened to the public stating the course is "about as unfussy as golf gets."

Guests can play in jeans, bring their pups and then enjoy food and drinks at Otto's calling it "An easy day in the Catskills.
