I Think I’m The Only One Who Hasn’t Seen ‘Hamilton’

Am I weird for not seeing this production or caring about it at all?

Whether you love it or hate it almost everyone is talking about the musical written by Lin-Manuel Miranda. 'Hamilton' has been both praised and it's been heavily criticized about its portrayal of slavery.

I feel that I'm gravely outnumbered here but I had almost no desire to see the show when it was on Broadway and I have no desire to watch it now that it's available on Disney Plus.

Should I give it a chance? Is it one of those shows that I need to see just to say I watched it?

I need to know if it's worth watching or not. Even if it stinks how can you criticize something that you haven't seen. Who would have thought that it actually got its start in Poughkeepsie?

Should I at least watch it for its historical Hudson Valley ties?
