It's great that Adams Fairacre Farms has five locations that we can shop from. There's one in Poughkeepsie and Wappinger along with Newburgh, Kingston and their newest in Middletown!
Adams Fairacre Farms' Orchid Festival Brings Summer Fun, Sales & Workshops
Adams Fairacre Farms has been a staple in the Hudson Valley for many years. I always say that it's so much more than a grocery store in fact, we can refer to them as
'The Hudson Valley's super farm market'
They are also known for being
'The Hudson Valley's Original Farmer's Market'
They recently had their Summer Food Shows at each location. Adams Fairacre Farms hosted these events where shoppers could come in to sample food from local vendors, yum! Now, we can attend an orchid festival at their stores with summer fun, great sales and even workshops.
I say, it's always fun to visit their stores because its so uplifting, everyone is nice, their selections have great quality and you can find everyone under one roof! I chatted with an employee who was putting out the orchids and we shared our love for Adams, the beauty of nature and the exciting festival this month. I love the great energy in their Hudson Valley stores!
What Can We Experience At Adams Fairacre Farms' Orchid Festival In The Hudson Valley?
I stopped into a local Adams store to not only shop but to find out more about their exciting festival! On site, we can join their Orchid Festival which features summer fun, sales and even workshops.
Adams Fairacre Farms Orchid Fest is from August 21, 2026 to September 4, 2026.
While Poughkeepsie, Wappinger, Newburgh and Kingston already had their 101 workshop, we can still attend the one that will take place in Middletown.
On Sunday, August 30, 2026, we can join Peter Lai who is known as 'The Orchid Guy'. This event will be at 1pm and we would receive a Orchid 101 class that will be located in their Greenhouse in Middletown.
Also, on Saturday, August 29, 2026, theres going to be a DIY workshop with orchids at Adams Fairacre Farms in Kingston.
What Else Can We Experience At Adams Fairacre Farms In The Hudson Valley?
While we can shop at their five locations, we can also see Adams Fairacre Farms at the Dutchess County Fair! On social media, Adams included that their Wappinger Floral Team won First Place at the Dutchess County Fair this year. They proudly included,
'Their Statue of Liberty photo-op celebrates America's 250th, and the judges awarded it the blue ribbon for Florist Display!'
'Every gladiola, hydrangea, and flag was placed by hand, right down to Lady Liberty's flower torch '
