A Kingston man was arrested after he was observed by police selling crack cocaine in the City of Kingston.

On Wednesday, members of the Kingston Police Department’s Special Investigators Unit and Town of Ulster detectives concluded an investigation into the sales of crack cocaine. Police say they observed 34-year-old Demetri R. Boler, of Kingston, selling crack cocaine in the area of Foxhall Avenue and Albany Avenue.

Boler was immediately arrested and transported to the Kingston Police station where he was allegedly found to be in possession of additional crack cocaine.

Boler was charged with two counts of 3rd-degree criminal sale of a controlled substance, two counts of 3rd-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance, and one count of 5th-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance.

Boler was arraigned in Kingston City Court and remanded to Ulster County Jail without bail.
