La Mexicana Taqueria Newburgh Storefront To Open October 3rd

Something the Hudson Valley has excelled in over the past several years has definitely been food truck offerings. We have been lucky to have a wide variety of our favorite foods roll through all areas of the Hudson Valley to give us some good eats (on the street).

It's always nice to support your favorite food on wheels, but even better when they decide to open up a storefront in addition to their food truck.

La Mexicana To Open Taqueria in Newburgh Storefront Location October 3rd

Commonly (and lovingly) referred to as the 'green taco truck,' La Mexicana Tacos Mexican Food has announced that they will be opening up a storefront location in Newburgh, with their official launch set for October 3rd at 102 Liberty Street (the building once occupied by Newburgh Flour Shop). Locals have expressed their excitement for their tacos and quesadillas, and are eager to try their expanded menu as well.

The food truck has been docked at a number of Newburgh locations over the years, and can currently be found at 11 Spring Street on the corner of Liberty, with the new storefront location .02 miles down the road at 102 Liberty St.

102 Liberty Street Former Home of Newburgh Flour Shop/Bread and Batter Bakery

If you're familiar with this area of Newburgh, and you're trying to place your finger on what this location used to be, it was the former Newburgh Flour Shop/Bread and Batter Bakery.

Following their transformation from Newburgh Flour Shop to Bread and Batter earlier this year, the popular bakery relocated all operations to their Academy Street Poughkeepsie location. There have been several changes to 'The Academy' since it's launch in 2022, however, Bread and Batter remains open with their hours of operation Thursday- Monday, 7-4, Tuesday 7-12 and closed Wednesday!

Resorts World Hudson Valley Opens Doors In Newburgh

The grand opening for Resorts World Hudson Valley, located in the Newburgh Mall on Rt. 300 in Newburgh, took place on Wednesday December 28th at 10:00am.
