As the Hudson Valley slowly adjusts to spring (I mean, the weather hasn't exactly been feeling all that spring-like lately so it's been hard to get into the spring zone), one thing is for sure, more and more seasonal businesses have been sharing information about opening dates, and for that, we are excited!

Mini-golf, ice cream, and donuts in Highland, NY

One Highland-based business announced its season-opening information recently, and locals seem enthusiastic about getting back into the swing of one of their spring and summertime traditions.  Lakeside Licks Ice Cream & Hole in One Donuts, located on Rt. 299 in Highland, will officially be opening on Thursday, April 21st for the season.  Not only are they excited to be reopening, but they will also be hosting their first car cruise of the year as well on that day!

Lakeside Licks History in Ulster County, NY

The business, which has been a popular Ulster County attraction for mini-golf and ice cream since opening in 2013, expanded in early 2019 to include donuts as well.  For those that have been missing out on the fun and unique donut creations that Lakeside Licks had been offering, the wait is almost over.  The owners shared that they're pretty excited to bring the donut shop back after being closed most of last year.  Donuts will be available Saturdays and Sundays from 8 AM until sold out.
