Seriously though, is anyone out there actually checking?

You may start to finally see some faces out in public but will they really all be vaccinated?

When was the last time you saw a stranger's face while out in public? It seems like the only place you'll see one is if they're sitting at a table or a booth while at a restaurant. The coronavirus doesn't attack you when you're sitting down with French fries in front of you.

Things are about to be very different in the Hudson Valley. We're going on a year and a half since we first started to flatten the curve and masks are officially coming off. Well, some masks are coming off.

Last week the CDC announced new regulations for fully vaccinated people. The regulations stated that vaccinated people don't have to wear masks in most indoor and outdoor settings. As many unmasked across the country, New York State kept the mask mandate in place. Today, it was announced by Cuomo that New York will follow CDC guidance.

Now that we will start to see more people out there with masks off I just have one question. How will we know that everyone maskless is actually vaccinated? Okay, I have another question. Who's going to go around and check? Are they going to have glorified hall monitors?

A few months ago I put on my tin foil hat and questioned if there would be checkpoints and people laughed at the idea. I guess only time will tell.

According to Our World Data, only about 42% of New Yorkers are fully vaccinated at the moment but I think we'll see a lot of faces without masks on.

To prepare yourself for a potential incident, always keep your vet's phone number handy, along with an after-hours clinic you can call in an emergency. The ASPCA Animal Poison Control Center also has a hotline you can call at (888) 426-4435 for advice.

Even with all of these resources, however, the best cure for food poisoning is preventing it in the first place. To give you an idea of what human foods can be dangerous, Stacker has put together a slideshow of 30 common foods to avoid. Take a look to see if there are any that surprise you.
