McDonald’s Launches Collectors Meal: Get Nostalgic With Limited Edition Cups at New York Locations

Hey McDonald's enthusiasts, get ready to relive the good old days with a dash of modern flair! Starting August 13, the fast-food giant is launching the “Collector’s Meal,” a limited-time offer featuring one of six collectible cups with your favorite classic meals. These aren’t just any cups—they’re made of Tritan plastic, which is reusable, shatter-resistant, and BPA-free. Plus, each design is a trip down memory lane with hidden years from 1976 to 2014.

Unlike the fragile glass cups from our childhood, these Tritan plastic cups are built to last, so they’ll survive all the bumps and drops that come their way. These cups call to nostalgia with iconic characters like Barbie, Hot Wheels, Beanie Babies, Coca-Cola polar bears, Hello Kitty, Peanuts, and a special McDonald's-themed cup with Grimace and other restaurant icons. Some cups combine multiple franchises like "Shrek," "Jurassic Park," and "Minions," all under Universal Pictures.  

Remember those Hello Kitty keychains from 2000? They’re back, in a way, featured on one of these fabulous cups. To get in on the fun, order a “Collector’s Meal.” During breakfast hours, it includes a sausage and egg McMuffin, hash brown, and hot coffee. For the rest of the day, choose between a 10-piece Chicken McNuggets or a Big Mac with fries and a drink.
