Another Hudson Valley business is being added to the growing list of locations impacted by the COVID-19 virus.

In an announcement via their social media pages and website on Monday, Mohonk Mountain House announced the following:

To our entire Mohonk community:

We are all facing extraordinary and unprecedented times. Although we have had no incidents of COVID-19 among our guests or staff community, out of an abundance of caution, and due to the “social distancing” recommendations from CDC and local and state health officials, we have made the difficult decision to close Mohonk Mountain House beginning noon on Tuesday March 17, 2020 and we anticipate reopening for guest arrivals Wednesday April 1, 2020.

In speaking with representatives from Mohonk Mountain House, we learned that they have been closely tracking new developments and staying in constant contact with local health officials for guidance.  During the temporary closure, all normally scheduled employees will be paid.

The popular Hudson Valley destination attracts visitors from around the world, and has for more than 150 years.  Should you, or someone you know have reservations during this time frame that are impacted by the closure, you can expect a call from an agent to discuss options for the future.  Representatives can also be contacted at mohonkvacations@mohonk.com or 855.723.3137, 7 days a week, 8am until 8pm.
