Multiple Buildings on Fire in Village Of Wappingers

Early Saturday afternoon fire departments from around the area responded to a structure fire on Main Street in the Village of Wappingers Falls.

Eyewitness accounts say that the fire began near the "Rice & Beans" Deli and the fire then spread further down Main Street.

No one has been injured at this point although according to sources it is now a 3-alarm fire. The Dutchess County Office of Emergency Management said on their Facebook that East Main St. and that part of Route 9D is closed until further notice.
