In a turn that should be fascinating to Ulster County residents, it seems like the restaurant wave has hit one of the most unexpected places: a short corridor of Route 44 that generally sees more horses than people. But is the new deli any good?

Difficulties for Past Restaurants on Route 44 in Highland, NY

Restaurants at that location have struggled in the past. While the Flavorful Ladle has been closed for more than a year, another business, Robbie's Breakfast and Lunch, was unfortunately only open for several months in 2024 before extenuating circumstances forced owners to close their doors as well.
