A restaurant in New York City has been named the best restaurant in the world by a major food and restaurant group.

Food and Wine reports that a restaurant in New York City was crowned the best in the world by La Liste. Le Bernardin of New York City, owned by famous and award-winning chef Eric Ripert, was named the best restaurant in the world. It shares the title with Guy Savoy in Paris.

Chef Eric Ripert recently won three Michelin Stars for Le Bernardin. He has consistently won James Beard awards and even Emmy awards. Ripert is also the chef who found Anthony Bourdain when he killed himself.

La Liste is an algorithmic ranking of the best 1,000 restaurants in the world. It looks at 1,000 publications and guides for the ranking. It also consults local experts and foodies for its rankings as well. 350,000 reviews are considered for rankings as well.

As a self-proclaimed foodie, I have always wanted to go to Le Bernardin. This makes me want to go even more.
