Every year, once the NFL Draft wraps up, the rookies selected by each team get to work.
New York Giants rookies made their way to New Jersey to get ready with pre season workouts and getting acclimated to their new hometown.
Part of the new tradition is for the social media team to haze them a bit with funny videos shared to Instagram and TikTok.
The most recent video shows the rookies struggling through New York and New Jersey town names.

It's become a rite of passage over the last few years in the New York Giants organization.
Once the rookies arrive in town, the Giants social media squad gives them a bunch of town names in New Jersey and New York to pronounce. But it's not the easy ones like Brooklyn or Newark.
They throw the tough ones at them like Greenwich and Houston Street. Needless to say it's a difficult watch, but a must watch too.

Hudson Valley Gold Star Family Recognized by NY Giants During 2026 Draft
During the Giants 2026 draft pick they honored a fallen soldier from the Hudson Valley.
NFL Commissioner Rodger Goodell brought out Gold Star Voelke family during the Giants 5th round pick.
The Voelke family, made up of Traci and her 2 sons Benjamin and Andrew, announced that Arvell Reese from THE Ohio State would be joining Big Blue this season.

Traci, Andrew and Benjamin are a Gold Star Family, who sadly lost their husband and father Army Major Paul C. Voelke from Monroe, New York.
Major Paul C. Voelke died while serving overseas in Afghanistan back in 2012. The Voelke family is part of TAPS, Tragedy Assistance Program for Survivors, which teams up with the NFL's Salute to Service.
