Update: Police Find Missing 10-Year-Old

The missing Hudson Valley 10-year-old who was last seen at her bus stop Monday Morning was found in Tuesday New York City.

Kelly Rivera-Pillco was last seen in Rockland County at her school bus stop at 8:15 a.m. Monday morning. The 10-year-old was standing at the corner of Bethune Boulevard and Ben Wild Road in Spring Valley.

Kelly never boarded the bus and did not attend school.

Police say instead of getting on her bus Kelly took a cab into New York City. Fox 5 reports she was found dazed and confused by a Harlem business owner who called police.

It’s still unclear how Kelly called for a cab, who paid for the ride, or where she spent Monday night. Kelly made contact with her friends and mother early Tuesday on social media.

Police are currently ruling it a runaway. Kelly’s father lives in Queens. But police say they don’t believe the father was involved.
