Erie County Police arrested a woman after realizing her license plate was hand-crafted.

Amanda Schweickert, 28, was pulled over after officers saw her vehicle had no front plate, and the reaer plate was hand painted. After pulling the woman over, police discovered that she was driving on a suspended registration, and had no insurance.

Schweickert was charged with a felony count of possessing a forged instrument, operating a vehicle with a suspended registration, and three traffic infractions, as reported by CBS 6.

The homemade plate was made of cardboard and hand painted to replicate a New York plate.

 

In case you are wondering, homemade cardboard license plates are NOT legal.
