Police Seeking Assistance into Robbery at Hudson Valley Restaurant

Police are asking for the public’s assistance following a robbery at a Hudson Valley Chinese restaurant.

Wallkill Police responded to a report of a robbery at the Tai Fu Restaurant located at 680 Route 211 East in Middletown. Officers were told by two employees that a man with a gun entered the restaurant through the rear door and demanded money. After taking an undetermined amount of money from the victims the suspect fled the scene.

The suspect is described as a black male around 6’0” with an average build. He was seen wearing a cream colored hooded sweat jack, black pants, black sneakers, and construction gloves. The suspect was also wearing sunglasses and a black bandana which covered part of his face.
