Richard Matt and David Sweat escaped an upstate NY prison over the weekend. Due to the circumstances surrounding the daring escape, authorities suspect they had help on the inside.

The NY Post reports a female prison worker was question yesterday in connection with the case. The two fugitives used power tools to cut through a steel wall, two feet of brick and a metal pipe. They eventually made their way through a man hole approximately a mile away.

There are several large construction projects going at Clinton Correctional Facility where the escape occurred. It's possible the suspected accomplice helped Matt and Sweat obtain the tools used in the escape.
