A Brooklyn woman was arrested after she entered Fishkill Correctional Facility with drugs. 

Evelyn Jimenez, 47 of Brooklyn, NY was arrested and charged with Promoting Prison Contraband, Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance, Reckless Endangerment, and Promoting Prison Contraband.

An investigation revealed that Jimenez brought suboxone and synthetic marijuana into Fishkill Correctional Facility with the intent of providing it to an inmate.

Jimenez was arraigned in the village of fishkill Court and remanded to Dutchess County Jail in lieu of $5,000 cash bail, or $10,000 bond. She is due to appear in Fishkill Court March 7th, 2017.
