The popular children's toy 'Moogy Plush Fastening Toy' because of a choking hazard. The toy had been available for purchase through Amazon.com, Toys R Us, Gilt.com, HighlightsforChildren.com, and Zulily.com from July 2015 through February 2016 for about $33.

The reason for the recall? The red left buttons on Moogy's outfit can come loose and thus are a potential chocking hazard. The buttons are a part of Moogy's outfit, because they are used to teach children on how to button and un-button their own clothes. The shoe-strings on Moggy's feet are used to help children learn how to tie their own shoes.

More details on which specific Moggy is being recalled from the CPSC.GOV press release:

Moogy measures about 18 ½ inches tall. “Miniland,” item number R.96295 and lot number 0115 1402813 085 are printed on a white tag sewn into the toy’s pants.

If you own this toy, you are asked to return it to the place of purchase for a full refund.
