A scratch-off prize of $10 million, the largest in New York Lottery history is going to a Poughkeepsie couple. 

A couple from Poughkeepsie are the winners of a $10 million cash scratch-off prize. The winning ticket is part of the New York Lottery's special 50th anniversary instant game. The cost of the ticket is $30.

The names of the winners have not been released yet, but will be made available Thursday when they are presented with their over-sized check.

The ticket was purchased at the Stewart's Shop in Red Oaks Mill.

The New York Lottery's Yolanda Vega will present the couple with their check on Thursday March 9th, 2017 at the Stewart's Shop on Route 9 in the Town of Poughkeepsie (North of Marist College).

Just two weeks ago a Middletown man won $10,000 a Week for Life on a New York Lottery Scratch-Off.
