Do you know what it is? Have you seen it before? I've been trying to spend as much time outside before the dreaded winter takes over and it gets miserable out.

I've made a goal to try to walk at least 3 miles a day and do it 4-5 a week (wishful thinking). It can get a little boring just walking the same trail every day, so I have been trying to change it up with new places in the Hudson Valley. I haven't done the 'Walkway Over The Hudson' in a while and on Tuesday I decided to go for it. I forgot how beautiful the view is and how peaceful it is up there, but I noticed something very odd below me floating in the river.

Am I seeing things in the Hudson River?

Something in the river kept catching my eye when I was about halfway across the Walkway. It looked like it was floating near the shore, but then it started making its way into the middle of the river.

What pink object is floating in the Hudson River?

It's the best picture I could get, but something pink was floating in the river. At first, it almost looked like one of those pink flamingo floaties someone would use in a pool (I do need to get my contact lens prescription increased), but then it looked like a pink buoy, am I going crazy?

A deeper look at the object:

It was floating there for a while and kept moving around. Eventually, I had to keep going on my walk, but I assume it was there for a while. I felt bad I kept staring at it and other walkers needed to go around me because I was taking up space.

If you have seen this mysterious object before or know what it is, please send me the information on the station app.

Here's something that is not a mystery, it's awesome whiskey that is made in the Hudson Valley and facts about maple syrup:
