The Annual 'Free Cone Day' At Area Hotspot

It has become somewhat of a local tradition, when the date of East Fishkill Provision's 'free cone day' is released each year. For one day only, this year on April 11th, ice cream lovers can stop into the Old Hopewell Road location of East Fishkill Provisions for a free cone between the hours of 11am and 6pm to help them kick off ice cream season.

Flavor choices include chocolate, vanilla, or twist.

Ice Cream Season?

Just last month, Dairy Queen locations celebrated the start of spring with a free ice cream cone day on March 19th, and since then, we've been hearing about all of the seasonal ice cream stands and shops re-opening for the 2026 ice cream season.

Which leads me to ask, do you operate under the idea that there is a specific ice cream 'season' or are you more of an ice cream is an all-year-round type of thing? I know there are some people that simply cannot fathom the idea of a frozen cold ice cream dessert during the below-freezing temps of winter, but sometimes you get a craving and ice cream is simply the only answer...wouldn't you agree?
