Beacon Welcomes New ‘Retro FroYo’ Spot To Main Street
Main Street in Beacon expands yet again! It has been incredible to watch this area of the Hudson Valley grow over the past several years, especially as someone who grew up just across the town line in Fishkill. Just this week, Beacon welcomed a new sweet spot to Main Street - have you heard about Retro FroYo?

Beacon's New Sweet Spot, Now Open!
Lisa Percopo has been a Hudson Valley resident since the mid-90's, working in hospitality and the food and beverage industry for more than 20 years. As many of us know, most of the frozen yogurt spots that we came to know and love during the pre-Covid days are long gone, so Lisa thought it might be time to bring that back...but with something different.
Retro FroYo isn’t your typical frozen yogurt shop or ice cream shop. It is somewhere that kids can come and play video games. Somewhere for high school students to come for study group sessions and for folks that work from home to come and have a cup of coffee while taking advantage of our free WiFi!
After visiting with a friend who owns a local BnB in Beacon over the last few years, Lisa found that she loved the vibe and energy of the area, thus making Main Street an obvious choice to open Retro FroYo.
I have always loved the all things vintage. Since I was younger. I am naturally drawn to mid century/vintage architecture and interior design. As I’ve gotten older, I have fallen in love with thrifting. Something about the 70s remind me of my grandparents. Their home. The coziness of the warm colors that come alone with the 70s, it makes me feel close to them still.

So, What Can We Expect at Retro FroYo?
Currently operating seven days a week with Monday-Friday hours from 3 until 7pm, and weekends 1-7pm, Retro FroYo held their soft opening the first weekend in January, they've been having some fun promoting the new shop, too.
Located at 412 Main Street in Beacon, Retro FroYo has self serve frozen yogurt with a variety of toppings, always have a machine dedicated to vegan yogurt (coconut base), and also serve coffee and hot chocolate. During the warmer months the menu will expand to include iced coffee, iced tea and bursting boba lemonade.
