Ryan Adams has lived many lives in the alt-music industry. He first got his start in the alt-country band Whiskeytown before leaving to become a solo artist and release his debut album Heartbreaker. Since then he has worked primarily solo but has done other side projects, including bands The Finger, The Cardinals, The Shining, and many others.

Over the years he has released 22 albums, varying from doing his own material with songs like Do You Still Love Me? and Gimme Something Good, to doing covers of songs like Taylor Swift's Bad Blood and Oasis' Wonderwall.
