Saks Cancels Popular Holiday Display

It's no secret, things are getting more and more expensive. Not only are you and me struggling to keep up with bills and save up enough money just to get by, so are big businesses.

In 2024, Saks Fifth Avenue announced they were getting rid of one of their more iconic holiday displays.

After 20 years of lighting up the New York City Streets, Saks had to cancel their famous light show. According to NYC Guide and Influencer, Marod and John Friia, explained that "financial struggles" had forced the luxury brand to change their 2024 holiday presentation.

Now with the 2025  holiday season in reach, many want to know if the light show will return this year.

Thankfully, we have some good news.

Don't Call It a Comeback: Saks Fifth Avenue Light Display Returns for 2025

It looks like the Saks Fifth Avenue Light Display will return for the 2025 holiday season.

ABC7 New York reported on Monday September 15th, 2025, that the light show will officially be returning this year. The add "The department store confirmed the news on Monday, but said more details will be coming soon."

If you're a fan of the holiday season and visiting New York City during December, the details don't really matter, you're just happy the iconic light show is back!
