See Inside Christmas With These Harry Potter-Themed Rooftop Igloos in New York
Forget cabanas at the beach. You can enjoy a rooftop themed igloo at the beach this winter. Step into Santa's Workshop. Go back to the Roaring 20s. Enjoy the Northern Lights. Relax in a log cabin. Or reach for the stars in the Astrology igloo.
The multi-sensory, themed, heated igloos include themed cocktails, activities, music and props for the perfect selfie. There's even a bell to alert servers to bring food or drinks. And all overlook the Narragansett Bay at Gurney’s Montauk Resort & Seawater Spa in Montauk, New York.
The Santa's Workshop igloo features festive decorations, hot cocoa, warm blankets and a mailbox for those letters to St. Nick.
Step back in time in the Roaring 20s igloo, complete with feathers, pearls, a Daisy Buchanan cocktail, all music from The Great Gatsby soundtrack.
See the Northern Lights while sipping on an Aurora cocktail. Turn winter into a Tropical Summer, complete with a Strawberry Jungle Bird beverage.
Channel your inner Harry Potter to mix potions and gaze into a crystal ball while enjoying an Oracle cocktail in the Astrology Igloo. Tarot cards and quartz crystals complete the decor.
Unwind after a long day on the slopes without even putting on skis in the Après Ski Igloo. Warm-up from the inside out with an Irish Coffee or hot cocoa. Enjoy a shotski while playing board games.
Themed igloos are available 7 days a week until March 1, but you have to make a reservation Thursday – Sunday. To reserve your themed igloo, call 401.851.3325 or email firstname.lastname@example.org. Learn more at Gurneysresorts.com.
