Can You Tell Me How To Get To MJN? Sesame Street Live is coming to Poughkeepsie!
Get ready for some family fun because Sesame Street Live! Say Hello is coming to the MJN Convention Center in Poughkeepsie on December 4, 2024! Your favorite characters like Elmo, Abby Cadabby, and Cookie Monster are bringing their fuzzy, fun-filled show to town, and they’re inviting you to join them in a game of hide and seek with Elmo's puppy, Tango.
This 90-minute show, including an intermission, is packed with singing, dancing, and plenty of surprises. Designed for kids aged 1 to 7, Sesame Street Live! is truly an event for the whole family to enjoy. And after the show, don't miss the exclusive Photo Experience where you can snap a pic with the stars of Sesame Street Live.
On a personal note, I actually auditioned for Sesame Street Live back in 2004. Didn’t quite make the cut, but hey, many of my performing friends have "helped out" on various Sesame Street tours over the years. It's always fun to see familiar faces bringing these beloved characters to life!
Make sure to leave your stroller at home, though, as strollers won’t be allowed inside Mair Hall. Tickets are on presale now and officially go on sale on August 30. This is the first live Sesame Street tour produced by Round Room Productions, stepping in after The Vee Corporation, known for past tours Sesame Street Tours and other properties including Scooby-Doo.
