Ugh...I would have run right back inside the house. Nature is pretty relaxing and beautiful most of the time, but sometimes that's not always the case. One of my biggest fears is snakes and every time I see one I get VERY afraid. I know many people share that same feeling. I was on Facebook the other day and noticed an eerie post from someone in a local community group.

Slithering across the yard:

According to the source, she was trying to just water her plants and all of a sudden noticed the snake sitting right in the bushes. Oh no, imagine having that right next to you while you're trying to do some yard work!

What kind of snake is it?

According to the post, most people wrote in and said it's a Garter snake. If it is really a Garter snake, they are usually harmless and get up to a medium size. They can be found in woodlands, forests, and lawns and are usually near water. Doesn't mean they are nice to look at though or you want to see it up close and personal...
