Despite local franchises like Ready Coffee expanding to new locations, plenty of Hudson Valley residents still flock to Starbucks daily. These new changes will directly affect fans of one type of drink in particular.
Starbucks "Simplifying" Their Menu
In a recent press release, Starbucks shared that they were "simplifying" their menu. Even for customers losing their favorite drink, the logic behind the move should be understandable.

Alongside the fancy corporate-speak of "menu simplification" and the "focus on more popular items executed with excellence" is an actual benefit of the coffee cull: lower wait times.

Not only are the items leaving Starbucks menus some of the least-popular drinks, but many of them take the most time to create. But while New York customers may have never ordered the now-canceled Royal English Breakfast Latte, there is one type of drink that many customers will miss dearly.
