Stormville Flea Market to Open Under New Name
The Stormville Flea Market has been closed due to COVID-19 but will be reopening under a new name.
According to their Facebook page, the Stormville Flea Market will be opening. But it will be opening under a new name. The Stormville Flea Market will now be called the Southern Dutchess Flea Market. It's set to open this weekend, August 29 at the Stormville Airport.
It's unclear why the flea market has rebranded for a new name. In a Facebook post, the Stormville Flea Market says that it is "no longer the same". For the new flea market, masks will be required, social distancing is mandated, and a limited amount of customers and vendors are allowed. The full Facebook post below:
There has been a lot of changes in the last few months. What should have started as a celebration of 50 years in business I write this with tears in my eyes as the Stormville we once knew and loved is no longer the same. We have worked countless hours on what is now the Southern Dutchess Flea Market. You can follow us there for updates. Please DO NOT COMMENT on this post. Thank you for your understanding.
