Wednesday weather will be like yo-yo, especially in the temperatures department.  Temps expected to head back up the upper 70’s.  A cold front approaches the region and moves through all day Wednesday which will touch off scattered showers and we could see thunderstorms too.  If we see these storms they will likely produce some damaging wind gusts and locally heavy downpours.

Good news, as the cold front exits and high pressure takes control of the Hudson Valley weather again, we’ll return to dry, seasonal weather.  Basically, sunshine and temps in the 60’s.

Here’s the latest forecast from the National Weather Service:

Wednesday:  Mostly cloudy, with a chance of showers and thunderstorm, especially in the afternoon.  High near 77.

Wednesday night:  Showers expected with a possible thunderstorm.  Otherwise mostly cloudy overnight, low around 54.

Thursday: Mostly sunny, with a high near 67. Light north wind.

Thursday Night: A slight chance of showers. Mostly cloudy, with a low around 54.

Friday: Partly sunny, with a high near 69.
