It was just two weeks ago I was sitting at my kid’s soccer game freezing and then the thermostat shot up to summer-like conditions. Good news, for those of us who were looking for some normal and by normal, I mean spring type weather. This week sunshine and blue skies dominate the Hudson Valley forecast.

First, we’ll keep sunshine in the forecast every day. Just having sunshine alone is great, keeps the vitamin D flowing. Second, we will only have a chance of rain on Thursday night and that doesn’t stick around very long.  Friday is back to another nice day. Third, temperatures will stay in the mid to upper 70’s most of the week. Not too cold, not too hot. Wednesday looks like the warmest days this week.

Here’s how the National Weather Service breaks down the forecast.

Tuesday: Sunny and a high near 76.

Tuesday Night:  Partly Cloudy, low near 48.

Wednesday: Sunny with a high near 78.

Thursday and Friday: Mostly Sunny, high near 70.
