"Heartbreaking" Update from Tantillo's Farm Market
Opening nearly 100 years ago, Tantillo's has remained a family business while expanding their original offerings, adding baked goods (including what many in the Hudson Valley agree are the best cider donuts on the planet) and ice cream. Many loyal customers were heartbroken to read a recent update from the owners.
Tantillo's Farm Market Announces Closure
"To the most dedicated customers, as some of you may have learned, we will not be opening Tantillo’s Farm Market and Ice Cream going forward", Tantillo's recently posted on Facebook (below).
Why is Tantillo's Farm Market Closing?
They continued to explain that the combination of increased business challenges and their desire to spend more time with their growing family led them to arrive at the difficult decision. The outpouring of both grief and support was immediate.
Community Sends Love to Tantillo's Farm Market
"So sorry to be reading this!! Tantillo’s will be missed. All the best in this next chapter!", commented one farm market fan. "This is truly heartbreaking for my family... you have been a staple in our family traditions and it will be missed. My kids hate the commercialization of all the other farms and loved coming to your farm", said another.

Tantillo's will be open on Saturday, April 26th for what they describe as a "more formal see you later", and also promised to make appearances at occasional local events, donuts in tow.
