When you're getting concert tickets for this summer, don't forget about the newest hot spot in the Hudson Valley.

Nothing says "return to normal" quite like going to concerts. After all, who doesn't love live music? You might think you have to go to New York City for an amazing live show, but you're so wrong. Over at the historic Montgomery Mills in Montgomery, you can find the best live-music venue: City Winery Hudson Valley. Founded by Michael Dorf, who also founded the iconic Knitting Factory in NYC, City Winery Hudson Valley consists of a fully functioning winery, restaurant, tasting room, and concert venue. And get this: it’s the only operating & functional winery in New York that is strictly run by a hydro generator…all the power comes from the water in the Wallkill River! If that wasn’t cool enough, here are some other reasons to check City Winery out…

There are some amazing shows lined up for this summer.

So, we covered that City Winery Hudson Valley is a great venue, and we haven't even talked about the great lineup of their summer concert series Concerts In The Vineyard. The first shows this summer are set for June. Here’s who’s playing in the next few weeks:

Check out the full Concerts in the Vineyard lineup here. The best part? They’re still adding shows, so make sure you keep checking back for new acts.

Brunch, lunch, and dinner are BOTH available at City Winery Hudson Valley.

At a lot of venues, you go for the show and that's it. But at City Winery, their live shows are a full-day experience. Doors for their shows open at 12:30 PM, the shows start at 2 PM and run until about 4 PM. This means you can get drinks before, enjoy the show, and get dinner after. All in the same spot. So, if you're checking out Rhett Miller & The All Stars on Sunday, June 13, get brunch in the morning, enjoy the show in the afternoon. Then enjoy an amazing dinner after in the Barrel Room or on the patio. For dinner, I recommend the CW Brussels Sprouts as an appetizer and the Crispy Chicken Sandwich. Thank me later.

It's a winery, so obviously there are amazing drinks.

So, the show just ended, your dinner was phenomenal, now what? Drinks, DUH! You can get wine by the glass, bottle or even a wine flight. Their world-class wines are produced in the city, and they go to great lengths to source their grapes from some of the finest vineyards in the world. If wine isn't your thing, don't worry. They offer an amazing selection of local craft beer and cocktails. Truly, there is something for everyone.

City Winery Hudson Valley is taking amazing measures to keep you safe during their concerts.

If you're worried about safety, you know in terms of COVID-19, City Winery Hudson Valley is taking extraordinary measures to keep you safe. The biggest perk is that all shows are outdoors. All ticket holders will be required to show proof of a vaccine or a negative COVID test. They're even doing COVID testing on-site (but it’ll cost you $30). All tickets are sold in pods, so it's just you and your favorite people next to you, not strangers. Plus, all pods are six feet apart. All guests will also be required to wear a mask when not seated at their pod.

You can buy tickets for their shows right here.
