Before the pandemic, just about every office building had a candy dish. Sadly, that tradition disappeared with countess others. The candy bowl has found a home once again right next to the hand sanitizer of course.

I never would have thought that we'd get to see one of these again. I know it seems like it has been a lifetime since we've seen one but who remembers the community candy dish? After 8 months of avoiding just about any form human contact we're finally seeing candy out on public display for everyone to enjoy. That's got to be a good sign, right?

It couldn't have come at a better time. Even though we might not be able to celebrate Halloween in the traditional sense that we're accustomed to at least we can count on smashing some delicious candy.

Listen, I know a public candy bowl is a pretty lame thing to get excited about but I'm honestly happy just seeing any form of normalcy these days. I'll take any small victory. I'm super excited for friends with kids who got too much candy on Halloween and they give it to anyone they can find.

I never thought I'd have to say this but please use the candy dish responsibly. Wash your hands and use sanitizer before indulging.

It's hard to believe but it's getting to look a lot like October around these parts. It's truly one of my most favored times of the year.
