The Hudson Valley Was Colder Than Siberia on Saturday
Baby, it's cold outside. Well, at least in the Hudson Valley.
We experienced some freezing cold weather in the Hudson Valley this past weekend. Saturday, December 19, 2020, was extra cold. It was so cold, that places that are typically known for having sub-zero temperatures actually had warmer weather than us.
In Poughquag at around 10 a.m., the temperature was only 12 degrees. The folks over in Siberia, Russia, were having a warm winter day at the same time as their current temperature was 19 degrees. But Russia wasn't the only place warmer than the Hudson Valley this weekend. There are plenty of freezing locations that beat us on the thermometer this weekend.
