After experiencing light snow Sunday morning, the Hudson Valley is set to see more precipitation. Except this time it will be in the form of rain. Forecasters are saying parts of the Hudson Valley could see over an inch.

If you're heading out New Year's Eve, you'll probably want to bring an umbrella.

Monday will see increasing clouds and rain moving by the afternoon. Highs will be in the upper 40s. Monday night will actually bring rising temperatures and a chance for potentially heavy rain.

2019 will start off mild with highs in the mid 50s, however the winds will pick up and temperatures are expected to drop by late afternoon. Tuesday night will feel more like January with lows in the upper 20s.

Have fun and be safe if you're heading out to watch the ball drop! You may get a bit wet if you're out, but at least we're not getting a snowstorm.
