The Hudson Valley has several high profile colleges in the area so it's no surprise the rich and famous flock to schools here. Today we're going to take a look at the Hudson Valley's top ten most famous college students.

Our top ten list features famous people from the following schools:

  • SUNY New Paltz - One of the founding schools in the SUNY system which was created in 1948, the school consistently ranks on Kiplinger's of list of best values. The 350 acre campus consists of two dozen academic buildings and 13 residence halls. They are undergoing a $300 million renovation over the next five years.
  • Vassar College - Founded as an all girls school in 1861, Vassar is in the top 20 best liberal arts colleges in the country according to US News and World Report.
  • Culinary Institute Of America - The world's most well known culinary school is located in Hyde Park. The school was originally founded in New Haven, Ct but moved to the Hudson Valley in 1970. They have additional campus' in California, Texas and Singapore.
  • Marist College - Founded in 1905, it's 180 acre campus overlooks the Hudson River. US News and World Report frequently names Marist one of America's Best Colleges.
