They Might Be Giants Are Coming To The Hudson Valley

Istanbul was Constantinople, now it's Istanbul, not Constantinople. Why they changed it, I can't say - people just liked it better that waaaaaaaaaaaaaaay. 

Yes, They Might Be Giants - a band beloved by the nerdiest of music fans - is coming to the Hudson Valley. They'll be playing at Daryl's House next week, on Friday, August 11th at 8 PM.

Even if you're not a huge fan, you might already know a few of their hits. Heck, if you grew up in the 90s like I did, you probably heard them for the first time on the cartoon Tiny Toon Adventures. "Particle Man," "Istanbul," "Dr. Worm," and of course, "Boss of Me," the iconic theme song to Malcolm in the Middle.

So yeah, this should be a pretty great show. And it's probably the only live show you'll see that will double as a science lesson if they sing "Why Does The Sun Shine?"
